HOW DO I PICK THE RIGHT SIZE?

We strongly recommend you to have your measurements taken by a professional seamstress /dressmaker to ensure the accurate measurement before buying any dress online. We have provided pictures to show you how to measure. If you want the dress to be custom-made, please offer the exact measurements. If you need a standard size dress, please refer to our standard size chart to choose the right size.

IS MY PURCHASE SECURE OVER THE INTERNET?

Your purchase could not be more secure with us. All your sensitive information is transmitted with 128 bit encryption directly to your credit card company. No one ever sees your credit card information. Our employees receive your name, items on your order and shipping address ONLY. You have a better chance of having some one else having your credit card number going to a store than typing it directly on your computer. You are also guaranteed your purchase through your credit card, PayPal and Google.

HOW IS THE DRESS SHIPPED?

Our finished dress will be sent in a box, inside-out (to protect the beading), well wrapped in a plastic bag to protect it from water and dirt. The package will be dropped at your front door!

WHERE CAN I TRY ON YOUR DRESSES BEFORE PAYING IT?

We only sale online, and we do not have a show room oversea. So we are sorry, you can not try on our dress before buying. But we can guarantee the quality. We have a lot of pictures online for your reference. If you order a dress in the right size, we are confident that the dress will not disappoint you.

CAN I RETURN THE DRESS IF I DON'T LIKE IT?

If you don't like the style of the dress received, we are afraid that we have no control and responsibility of your personal taste to the style after you received the dress. Please do choose the right style you want before ordering. If your don't like the dress because you are confident that the dress has quality problem, please feel free to contact our customer service. We are committed to offer the highest service!

WILL I BE CHARGED SALES TAX?

Please note that all import taxes / duties are the buyer’s responsibility. We will not accept responsibility for customs costs incurred. 

Many countries do not charge import duties on private items, samples, and goods below a certain stated value. We will try to set a low product value in the list and send it as samples to make the tax as low as possible or avoid tax. But we can’t give you advice or information about tax rates and customs charges in your country. However, you may find that you have to pay taxes when goods you’ve ordered from us arrive in your country. You must ensure you find out about regulations in your own country before ordering from us. Let us know if you have any special packing or labeling instructions when placing your order.

I'M IN A REAL HURRY, HOW DO I GET MY DRESS FASTER?

If you need your dress urgently, rush order is available so that you can get the product in time, But we strongly suggest you to contact us before place order, to avoid in-excitable order.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY DRESS?

As all orders must be processed before they can be shipped, The Total Delivery time is split into two parts: Normally, for wedding dresses the processing time is 12-15 working days and and the shipping time is 3-5 working days. You will get your dresses in 15-20 working days. For other dresses, processing time is 10-12 working days and shipping time is also 3-5 working days. You will get your dresses in 13-17 working days. But we strongly advise you to place order at least a month before your event! Please kindly notice, the processing time may be extended during the peak seasons which you could check the detailed purchase information at each dress ending page!

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER STATUS?

Once the order ships, a tracking number will be sent to you automatically, please feel free to contact your carrier to track your package. Or, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department to check the most updated status of your order. We are more than happy to further assist you.

DOES ORTDRESS.COM HANDLE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?

DELIVERY POLICY & SHIPPING OPTIONS

Delivery Policy

As a unique selling point of Ortdress, all of our dresses can be custom made(except In Stock items), normally, it will take 13 to 18 working days to make a new dress, in peak season it may take more time, which you could check the detail purchase information at each dress ending page. Once your order is successfully made from our website, it will be considered that you have agreed with the processing time of your order for 13 to 18 working days or more during the peak season. If you are in urgent need of your dress or have a upcoming wearing date, you should contact us before ordering or leave messages in the order instruction box for our information. No exception of cancellation or refund for the order due to the processing time in this agreed period.

The international delivery may take 5 to 10 more post days via different shipping options(check the following information for more details about available shipping method) Please make sure you have allowed adequate time before your wearing date. We can not hold responsible for the delivery time by shipping company.

All of our orders are shipped as "D.D.U"(Delivered Duties Unpaid), Ortdress.com can not be held responsible for any accrued additional charges such as taxes, duties or tariffs that may apply to international orders. To find out more about this, please contact your local custom office. All prices on our site are quoted in Pounds.

Shipping Options

Ortdress supply you a range of shipping methods to choose from, they are DHL Express, UPS, FedEx, EMS. You can choose whichever method suits you best when you place an order. The following information will show you some useful information to select the method.

1.DHL

DHL Delivery times are between 5-7 post days to all major destinations. For Middle East area, Africa, Southeast Asia and some small countries, DHL is the best shipping method for you to choose, which the shipping time and cost are the most competitive.
DHL will update the shipping information onto website in 24 hours.

2.UPS

UPS Delivery times are between 5-7 post days to all major destinations. As UPS was founded in United States, if you want to ship your order to America, Canada, South America and United Kingdom, then UPS is fastest and cheapest express method for you to choose from.
UPS will update the shipping information onto website in 24 hours.

3.FedEx

FedEx Delivery times are between 5-7 post days to all major destinations. If you want to ship your order to Southeast Asia which the order weight is over 21kgs then FedEx is the fastest and cheapest express shipping method.

4.EMS

EMS Delivery times are between 7-15 post days to all over the world. And the shipping cost will be more competitive to the above 3 express shipping methods. 
EMS will take 1-2 business days to update the information onto website.

5.Free Shipping

According your selected products for ordering are all free shipping targeted. We will select one shipping methods for you by ortdress.com

If you have any special requests about the shipping option or delivery condition, you man leave your request on "Order Inquiry", or directly contact our after sales service team by service@ortdress.com.

IS SHIPPING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

If product name includes "Free Shipping", then you will do not need to pay for shipping cost. Free available for every country. 

For products without "Free Shipping" are not included in the item prices: you need to use the online system to generate a shipping quote for your order.

HOW WOULD ortdress.com SHIP DRESS TO ME?

ortdress.com currently ships small and medium sized orders by international couriers.
The shipping rates can be previewed inside the ortdress.com online shop system. You can just click on the "Estimated Shipping Costs" and choose the country you want to ship to, Shipping fees will be estimated by our system automatically.

How can I trace my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email from us. In this email, there should be the tracking information for your packages as well as the website in which you could trace your order at.

How Long will it take to deliver? Total delivery time is composed of two parts. The first part is the processing time. This is the time from when your payment is received to when we gather up all the items and package them. The second part is the actual shipping time. This is the time that it takes for the package to be delivered by the couriers to the destination. Standard shipping normally takes 3-10 days, and express shipping normally takes 3-5 days. Processing takes 13-18 days normally.

Are the packages insured? Shipping with couriers is insured and can be tracked online. Once your goods are sent out we will email you with a tracking number so you can trace your delivery any time you want.

 

WESTERN UNION BANK TRANSFER FEE

Is paying by bank transfer/western union free? 

No,they are not free. 

You may have to pay a fee when the money is sent to Ortdress by Western Union/Bank Transfer. 

If you pay by bank transfer, please ask your bank to provide you with clear details so you can account for this fee when you pay. For example, if you are paying for an Ortdress order of $500, and the bank will charge $50 to transfer, please submit for the transfer $550. If you only submit $500 then the payment that arrives with us (in this example) will only be $450 and we won't be able to send your full order. 

Ortdress pays for any bank currency conversion fees. You can submit bank transfer payments in any currency. 

If you pay by western union, you need to go to a western union branch. Please also ask them to provide you clear details so you can account for the fee. Please submit the amount including transfer fee.

TAXE, CUSTOMS & DUTIES

We don't add taxes, VAT, or other hidden charges. You pay us what you see on the checkout page, i.e. goods subtotal + shipping cost. 

However - In most countries in the world you have to pay taxes on imported goods. Sometimes goods under a certain value, or in certain categories, do not incur taxes. 

The rules are different in every country. 

In any one country the rules are often applied differently in different places, and sometimes rather randomly. 

VAT has been applied on the item which covered by our supplier, customer may not involve in such fee. 

Unfortunately there is no way for us to know the rules, regulations, customs, traditions, practices, loopholes, schemes, systems, paperwork, codes, laws, or rulings of any country. 

As such we cannot, and will not, offer advice about taxes in your country. 

As the buyer, it is your responsibility to find out that information before you order. 

If you order goods from us and feel that you've been unexpectedly 'stung' with taxes at your end, please don't blame us. 

Please find out as much as you can about your import taxes in your own country before completing your order. 

If you find out information about the import tax situation in your country, and you believe there are ways for you to minimize the taxes you have to pay (or eliminate the taxes altogether), we are more than happy to follow your instructions regarding labeling, packing, declarations, invoices, etc. Just tell us what you need and we will let you know what we can do to help.

RETURN POLICY

Ortdress.com focuses on providing excellent products and creating enjoyable shopping experience to our customers. Our Return and Cancellation Policies were created to help customers to handle all kinds of return cases.

If you can’t find the answers to your questions from our Return and Cancellation Policies on this page, please email to service@ortdress.com  and our service team will reply to you within 24 hours (during business days).

Cancellation Policy

We understand that ordering a dress for your special occasion is an important undertaking. However, it is important to note that our dresses are custom-made, once production process begins, Labor Costs and Material Costs will be incurred.

- Unpaid order will not be processed. If you do not need it, please simply ignore it.
- Cancellation within 24 hours after the order is paid: you will get a full refund.
- Cancellation within 24 to 72 hours after the order is paid: you will get a partial refund consisting of 50% of the item price and the full shipping cost.
- Cancellation within 72 to 120 hours after the order is paid: you will get a partial refund consisting of 30% of the item price and the full shipping cost.
- Cancellation beyond 120 hours after the order is paid: you will get a partial refund consisting of the full shipping cost.
- Once the item has been shipped, the order can't be cancelled.

If you would like to cancel your order, please send an email stating your order number and telephone number to service@ortdress.com. We will calculate the cancellation time according to the time of the email is received.

Return Policy

Please email to service@ortdress.com within 7 days after you received the item(s) if you want to return the item(s). Please attach clear full sight photographs of your items in the email, which will help you to obtain more efficient help and solution from us.

Please note that returning packages needs prior approval from Customer Service.The after sale related emails should not be interrupted for more than 5 days.

If you are returning dresses or accessories, please make sure they are in original condition - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged and clean.

  1. Wrong Dresses Received

If we shipped you an incorrect item or the item with wrong color (Color differences due to the display settings of your computer monitor are not included), you have following three options:

1) You can keep the incorrect item and we will send you the right one as soon as possible.

2) You can keep the incorrect item, and we will send you 50% refund of the original item price. Shipping fee can’t be refunded,

3) You can return the dress and get a full refund.

  1. Sizing or Fitting Issues

As all of our dresses(clothing) are hand-sewn and customized, the finished gown may vary by approximately one inch in either direction of the specified measurements. We would do detailed check about the size and measureemnts. Therefore, the mistake on size and measurements are very rare.

In addition, our dresses are made with additional fabric in the seams; you can make minor adjustments at a local tailor's.

If you feel the size deviation is too large to be normal, please email to service@ortdress.com to get guide and help.

  1. Return Flawless Products

If you want to return or exchange flawless products, you will need to pay 60% of the dress price as restocking fee, and shipping cost is not returnable. You need to pay the shipping cost for return the dress as well. Please note that returning packages need prior approval from Customer Service.

Return Process

1) Please email to service@ortdress.com within 7 days upon you receiving your item, including an explanation with photographs for the return. Returns will not be accepted without prior approval from Customer Service.

2)  Once you receive the email from service@ortdress.com which states the return is approved, please send back the items to the address listed in email as soon as possible, and please make sure to use local post office service.(such as Post Office, USPS, Royal Post…).

3)  Once receive the return item, we will process the case in 3 to 5 business days. Items returned in unacceptable condition will not be refunded and cannot be shipped back to you. Please allow up to two billing cycles for it to be credited to your account, please kindly note that the refund efficiency also depends on the credit card bank's processing-cycle.

Therefore we would like you to know what data we maintain and what data we discard. With this privacy notice, we would like to inform you about our security measures.

We collect personal data only when you provide it to us, through registration, completion of forms or e-mails, as part of an order for products or services, inquiries or requests about materials being ordered and similar situations in which you have chosen to provide the information to us. Upon your request, we will (a) correct or update your personal information; (b) stop sending emails to your email address; and/or (c) disable your account to prevent any future purchases through that account. Colors 

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear at the Site. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitors' display of any color will be accurate. We suggest viewing an actual fabric swatch for true color representation. We typically do not charge for fabric swatches.

Ortdress.com can not be held responsible for any additional charges such as taxes, duties, tariffs, or brokerage fees that may apply to international orders. To find out which if any of these may apply, please contact your local government.

Underneath it all, Ortdress's Bridal dresses feature quality lining and inner construction details that help create a flattering shape and drape. So the quality is guaranteed.

We have a QA team who tests your ordered products before they are packed and sent to you. This is in addition to the normal quality assurance checks that all the goods have passed in the factory line.

All our products are covered by a 12 MONTH WARRANTY.In essence this means that defective dresses can be returned by post to Ortdress.com, in Hong Kong, where we will make the repairs or instant replacement and ship the new goods back to you.
